Spring Into Health!
Recent reports are that the flu season is beginning to wind down in many parts of the country. Springtime, especially in the aftermath of the flu as well as this year’s harsh winter, is a great time to replenish, rejuvenate, and rejoice!
For starters, I’m certainly not recommending that you purposely catch the flu to lose weight, for example. This particular bug is severe and can cause death in susceptible persons. However, if you’ve just had the flu, you’ve probably experienced an unplanned flu-induced detox. You might have lost a few pounds, quit coffee and alcohol, quit smoking, quit fast food, consumed healthy liquids like water, juice, and broth, and enjoyed some well-deserved rest.
So if you’ve had the flu and are now recovering, why not use this time to make a fresh start and embrace new lifestyle habits?
